Why?
The Safety and Security department treats and collects data and information from different sources. The department faces different challenges:
- Understanding and tackling new security symptoms and take the appropriate actions to solve them
- Collecting all information related to one unique security incident
- Shifting from incident management of a single security incident to problem management
The different information gaps that are created within this department can be explained by the fact that there is no integrated view on all actions having been taken throughout the bank related to an incident. Another information gap we identified are the manual reports and no automated benchmarking with other banks.
Deployments Factory has gained expert knowledge in this domain and proposes a structural approach to fill the information gaps.
How?
Deployments Factory will propose different solutions to fill the information gap:
- New architecture: collecting both aggregated internal data, detailed internal data and external info
- Unit bridges:
- Back office: implementing a set of procedures for support department of Safety and Security management
- Data factory: a reporting structure with automation of reports
