To meet the increasing demand in business activities of the company, Deployments Factory is constantly looking for young active people willing to join the team. This includes people with specific IT-skills which are able to help our consultants in producing results for the client. As a business information analyst, you will not only perform the IT aspects of a project but you will also be integrated in the business part of it.
Job description:
You will quickly be integrated into one of our project teams. From there on, mainly at the client's site, you will go on learning and contribute to the deliverables of the project by carrying out complex and varied activities including, typically
- Developing and designing Data marts and warehouses to support BI and analytics
- Analyzing and defining entity relationship diagrams based on complex models
- Creating and maintaining the associated Databases on various RDBMS (requires a very good understanding and knowledge of SQL language and RDBMS in general)
- Defining and implementing Data Quality controls at various levels and generating the corresponding reports to facilitate collaboration with business
- Bringing technical expertise required on the BI tools used within projets (BO, Cognos…)
- Transmits the developed application towards the operational team
Profile:
- Functional Analysis skills to develop requirements and specifications
- Database Design on one or multiple RDBMS. Very good knowledge of SQL
- Data extract, transformation and loading (ETL) techniques from source systems to data warehouses
- Data integration, data management and enterprise application integration software experience is a must (Talend…)
- Ability to determine the business needs of application users
